Moreover the risk period is within one month of the first event. After one month and for approximately one year the risk drops to about 4 times and after a year down to about 2 times.

In my experience I often get called to homes and business after the third attack and wondered why a particular place was vulnerable. Sometimes it is obvious, such as vulnerable and hidden windows and doors. In other cases, overgrown trees and shrubs provide cover and remove natural observation.
